Show Notes:
- 'In Stereo' (1st Verse) was over 'Points Of Authority'.
- Chester broke his wrist on the beginning of 'Papercut' by jumping off the stage, tripping, and falling. He sang every song without stopping from 'Papercut' to 'Leave Out All The Rest', then only left to get checked on and get ice on it before 'Numb'. He came out and finished the set, which is quite remarkable. Much respect to the Chaz man right here. He got a bandage put on it after the show at the hospital. He didn't want to quit the show early or cancel any other shows or Meet and Greets, and that's awesome. Chester rules.
- Chester's guitar part in 'Shadow Of The Day' was played by someone from backstage called Kurt.

- After 'Pushing Me Away', Kurt apparently brings something out to the stage (a guitar for Phoenix maybe?). Anyway, Mike says 'Thanks Kurt....make some noise for Kurt'. I noted this just because Kurt was the one that filled in for Chester on guitar for 'Shadow Of The Day' on the night be broke his wrist and the show following it. It was the first time in a recording that we have that the band mentioned him.

Comments: This one is pretty obvious. There's a front-row video of this song on YouTube that shows when Chester starts playing his guitar part on 'Shadow Of The Day', no sound comes from the guitar, because he forgot to turn the volume knob up, and he doesn't realize it until the song is nearly over. This is magically fixed on the live audio release, with no problems with Chester's guitar being heard whatsoever! He even mentions it after the song, which isn't edited out on the live audio, making it even more obvious that this has been fixed up. Also, during 'Points Of Authority' at this show, Chester went into the crowd, and rowdy fans grabbed at him, breaking his necklace and grabbing the cast on his broken wrist. Chester then ranted about it for about a minute before the next song, 'In Pieces', saying things like "Stealing my jewelry, breaking my hand, you should be ashamed of yourselves!" There's a YouTube video that shows all of this, but it has been entirely edited out of the live audio release.

Show Notes:
- 'Petrified' verse 2 was over 'Points Of Authority'.
- There was no drum solo on 'Bleed It Out'.
- Brad slightly changed up the guitar part on the 'Petrified' intro to 'Points Of Authority', playing a short guitar piece over and over before going into his usual riff. It's very basic, but it's still something different. I know know - he might have done it at Bangkok too but Singapore is the first video I have confirmation of it of until we get the Live CD.

Other Notes:
- When Chester went in the crowd on a song, someone in the crowd grabbed his necklace and broke it, so he yelled at the fans for breaking his necklace and trying to grab his broken arm. Stupid fans!
- Phoenix said that Chester actually had another accident before the concert, he cut his upper lip while playing tennis. Jasparina from LPTimes has a picture and was going to ask Chester about it, but didn't want to embarrass him, so go check her photo out here. He hit himself in the face with a tennis racket and had to have 6 stitches. Thanks to LPTimes for having such great information on the show!

- Rob had his drum solo on 'Bleed It Out'.
- The concert was late for 40 minutes because the band was stuck in traffic on their way to the stadium. It must not have been really bad because they didn't take two songs out of the setlist like they did the show before.
- This was the biggest show in Taiwan ever, besides Michael Jackson 13 years ago.
- An estimated 40,000 people turned out for the show, which would be Linkin Park's biggest crowd of the tour and their second biggest show ever!

designed by famed Japanese architect Kenzo Tange

it's actually a cone-shaped roof... but you can't tell that from the stupid pix I took from my cellphone. haha.

we did walk up the flight of stairs when we first got there and were looking for the place to line up for general admission tickets... but in the hurry to just find that place in order to line up first I didn't take a shot of the stadium while we were up there... cuz the building looks much nicer than this (why is it that I always end up making the buildings way uglier in my photos?)

but hah, I doubt if I had taken any pix from up the stairs it'd be any different tho... cuz I suck. lalalaaa~

in keeping up with my tradition of taking pix of concert venues~

it was an incredibly hot and sunny day (while it rained the day before and after the concert)... we got there around 3pm and had to wait under the big sun. fortunately the management people were handing out all these HUGE "Singapore Indoor Stadium" umbrellas so we can shield ourselves or else we'd end up totally sunburned! it was such a nice touch of them for doing so!

but the stadium itself is located really remotely at no where... it's soooooo long to walk to any station, and it's all highway around so no chance to catch a cab either! after the show, we walked for *ages* when we were already sooo tired and thirsty to finally catch a random bus to take us to some station, which by that time we didn't really care which station it was, as long as we could get somewhere... then we'd figure it out, haha.

I ended up catching the last train~~~ unbelievable! but it was only 11.30pm! I thought last trains leave at like past midnight?! anywayz, it's times like that when I finally realize how nice it is to have a car~~~ to have it just parked right outside the venue where you can get to straight away after the show~ and store drinks on board to quench your thirst immediately~~~ hahaha ^O^;;;;;;

I miss my car.

Chester screaming his heart out~~~ ♥♥♥

and there's some guy's hand... rocking on~

hilarious!

"in the one pic of chester with the random rocker hand in it... the pinky is pointing right at chester's crotch. haha"

me: "i knooooooooow hahahahah~ that's why i love it!!!!!!" *dies laughing*

"hahahahaha~ dirty!"

me: "i really am. HAHAHAHA"

I LOVE Chester's voice soooooo much, whether he's screaming, growling, singing, talking, whatever!!! it's just such an incredible powerful voice~~~
Chester is among my top 5 fave vocalists in the world [*] but I seriously believe he's the only one with the most dynamic vocal range cuz he can scream his lungs out in one second but immediately shifts to soft tone in the next second. Absolutely amazing~ None of the others on my list can scream while singing, plus, Chester's voice doesn't "break / blow" when he screams~ that's the super part!!! He's just incredible~~~ ♥♥♥

♪ the sound of your voice, painted on my memories...... ♪

they didn't perform that particular song that day, but I just love the line too much~ ♥♥♥

this is not really a great photo, but I like it because this must have been taken during one of the early MC sessions as you see the guys looking out to the crowd, with Mike holding the mic in hand about to talk or something~

http://s43.radikal.ru/i101/0807/47/fcd8078f5fe5.jpg

haha! 3rd best photo of the night!

didn't Mr. Hahn look like he's whistling or something?

hilarious~~~

------------------------

they didn't reveal the *massive* LED background until quite a couple songs into the set...

at first after a few songs, I was looking at the black curtain at the back thinking like, hmm, there's nothing? cuz I remember at their past shows they had the huge LP logo on with the soldier and everything...

not that I really care about the whole concert set-up thing tho~ as long as bands play music I love, I don't mind if it's at a tiny livehouse or at a huge arena with special effects.

but it was still shockingly fantastic when the curtain dropped to show this... sooo fancy and such a big production!!! it was the exact proof of Linkin Park's status now as a super band...

http://s61.radikal.ru/i171/0807/30/b52a84826d6c.jpg

Mike also sings a lot nowadays at shows...

Mike does sing quite nicely, but I miss him rapping~~~

Chester came down to the mosh pit on my side!!!!!!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

I didn't get to touch him but it's okay~ it all happened SOOO fast I didn't even know how he came down from the stage (I can't remember which song it was either!) but it was just such a nice surprise seeing his face so close right in front of me all of a sudden!

(while at the same time feeling TONS of people from behind crushing onto you at the front...)

Chester actually injured his wrist few weeks ago at a show in Australia, so he had this red wrist guard thing on... but at the time he came down to the stage, he was still wearing his long sleeve shirt so it covered the whole thing up and some people didn't know he had the injury.

so after he made his way back onto the stage, he was joking with Mike saying, "You guys are ruthless! Stealing me jewellery, grabbing my broken arm... You should be ashamed of yourselves!" it was absolutely *hilarious*!!!

someone even said she grabbed Chester's butt!!! O______o;;;;;; I'd never dare to do that! Man. Well, actually I wish I could have that kinda courage tho...

XDDDDDD~

http://s48.radikal.ru/i122/0807/50/579845acfd1d.jpg

I can't believe someone managed to capture this moment! (taken from LP messageboard)

freaking amaaazing~~~ see how everyone's trying to get a piece of Chester? XDDD

of all the concerts I've been to over the years, this was the 2nd time the vocalist came down from the stage [*] and both times I happened to be at the side they came to!!!

[*] the other time was Raine Maida of OUR LADY PEACE, at GM Place stadium. As soon as I saw him coming down I ran over to touch him... XD

-------------------

4th time I've seen them perform and it was the ONLY time I got home completely unscratched! (it was also the only time I had no trouble breathing at all throughout the entire show... haha)

and, of course, now I miss getting bruises all over my body...

how masochistic can I get?

XDDDDDD~

my friend, however, I didn't know what happened to her cuz we lost each other towards the latter part of the show and only reunited again afterwards, said a guy surfed right on top of her and crushed her!!! O______O like, sitting directly on top of her so she dropped to the ground~ but she was not hurt at all.

WOW.

but I just realized how I've come down with some sort of mosh pit addiction... cuz, since a few years back already, I kept saying how the next time I'd go for seats cuz I couldn't take the crowd anymore... but every single time I find out about a concert I still immediately go for the mosh pit tix... so it finally dawned on me the other day that it's a kind of addiction - you say you're gonna quit every time, but you never do.

XDDD~

14

http://s41.radikal.ru/i092/0807/d7/a332bbe74d27.jpg

this shot was taken when they played one of the new slow songs... well, I'm not sure which one it was, but I just remember very clearly that Chester looked like this when he sang those melodic songs~

during the first slow break when they played "In Pieces" and "Shadow of the Day" together, Chester did this SUPER SEXY pose!!! kinda like, self hugging, or it's as if you're touching yourself... and the way he leaned his head sideways too, it was sooo provocative and I've never seen him done anything like that! the scene is now like, imprinted onto my brain memory already... XDDD~

then, the other new slow song, "The Little Things Give You Away", I don't really feel anything for the song when I listen to the album, but the live version is sooo much better! the way Chester sings is just amazing, even tho it's just the long "aaaaaah" "ooooooh", it's the tone the notes and everything... I was there looking at him with my jaw dropped and mouth half open for the entire song... just stunned at how that can touch me... tears were literally swelling up in my eyes~~~

Chester is the *ultimate* rock god~ his explosive voice just has that overwhelming power to take over the audience and completely suck them in.

haha~

the photo is so blurred, but I like it, cuz it's part of the set for "3 continuous shots of Phoenix in 1 minute"~

funny how the only 2 sets of "3 continuous shots" taken were of Phoenix and Chester, who happened to be the ones I actually talked to... unlike for the rest of the guys I was too dumbfounded (and scared) that I didn't say a word to... >___<

oh! runner up to the best photo of the night!

the LED background added to that dazzling effect, coupled with the sharpness of the photo, Phoenix just looked stunning~

and check out Mike on keyboards at the background! (with Mr.Hahn Ningyo above his head) ^O^
-----------------------

OMG! look at how Phoenix rocked~~~~~~

XDDD

I have to say, now I do like him quite a lot, simply because he somehow was the first one in the group I got to talk to, haha~ and he was rather nice! oh and looking at these photos after the fact also reminded me of how cool he was on stage!

well, and come to think of it, I do like quite a few bassists out there cuz they're often the ones with the cutest and funnest personalities~ and I simply *adore* bass sounds a lot more than guitar because I love the low heavy tones.

one can *never* get enough of Chester's screaming roaring vocals.

http://s61.radikal.ru/i171/0807/37/de1a37ceff92.jpg

finally! a photo of Mike actually rapping!!! XDDD~

for the record, I don't like hip hop or rap, but for some reason, I just looove the way Mike raps!!!

-----------------------------

yes, Chester screaming / singing into the crowd~~~ ♥♥♥♥♥♥

----------------------------------

not sure why the only two photos of Brad both turned out to be a complete blur... but I love the way this photo turned out to be! it's got that, hmm, mysterious vibe to it?

kinda like the guy himself, I guess, since he was the only one no where to be found on the day after the concert when we stalked the guys at the hotel they were staying at... and whose autograph is the only one I'm missing now from the whole group.

----------------------------

Mr. Hahn *shamelessly* promoting himself... hahahah~

He has replaced The Almighty Froggy with the Gosho doll he designed as himself... even though throughout the whole concert, since his DJ station was so high up and I couldn't see clearly, I kept thinking it *was* The Almighty Froggy up there... only until afterwards when I saw the concert photos and blew them up big enough to see, then I realized it's not a frog but the Gosho doll he designed for the Ningyo Project - limited edition of 500 pieces and available exclusively at his shop SURU-LA.

---------------------------

Rob hitting the drums away~

considering how far away he was and the camera must have been zoomed to the max (and it's the crappy Sony Cybershot T10 >_<), the quality of this photo turned out not bad cuz it's relatively in focus and clear!

OMG... this is like, such a gorgeous shot of Mike!!! clear, in focus and everything!

Absolutely stunning.

Best picture from the whole show, hands down.

3 continuous shots of Chester in 10 seconds

(it's fairly interesting to see how the LED at the back faded away ^O^)

I *adore* this shot! it's simply amazing to see him blended in with the lights~

3 continuous shots of Chester in 10 seconds

the one thing that's special about Linkin Park's concerts is that, even though fans always sing along at any concerts, for Linkin Park, maybe it's because of their angst-filled lyrics and negative energies are indeed much more powerful... so when fans all sing along to Chester's explosive vocals, the sense of unification is that much stronger and the overall feeling is just incredible and absolutely indescribable... there's *nothing* quite like it, and you always come out feeling completely overwhelmed.

anywayz, it's kinda funny how after this concert, the year 2007 has become a milestone since now I've somehow managed to see both Linkin Park and MUSE in 3 countries~

Linkin Park - Japan, Canada, Singapore
MUSE - Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong (China)

hahaaa~ fun times!!! ^O^ I looove going to live shows~~~

Chester and Phoenix at the Upper End of Orchard Road - in front of Forum The Shopping Mall

Linkin Park's Asia Tour 2007 started with:
 ・Sun, Nov 11 - Bangkok concert
 ・Mon, Nov 12 - flight from BKK to SIN
 ・Tue, Nov 13 - Singapore concert
 ・Wed, Nov 14 - free day in Singapore (!!!!!!)
 ・Thu, Nov 15 - flight from SIN to TWN
 ・Fri, Nov 16 - Taiwan concert
 ・Sat, Nov 17 - flight from TWN to HKG

friend figured out from the touring schedule that Linkin Park had an entire free day in Singapore the day after the concert and before they leave to go perform in Taiwan, plus, it was confirmed that they were staying at the Four Seasons Hotel, which is super small! the entrace, the lobby... everything in there is very intimate, so it's really easy to spot people inside! and we figured, if we don't start from the hotel, we'd never be able to know where they're off to... so we decided to give it a try and just go to the hotel and wait to follow them around~

arrived at the Four Seasons Hotel around noon and immediately saw Mike and Joe having lunch in the hotel's restaurant... my friend got there in another half an hour, and around 1pm, the guys finished eating and went back up to their room only to come back down again soon, ready to go out. Joe went to the concierge so we caught Mike (when he came out of the washroom ^O^;;;) and asked for autograph...

didn't dare ask for photos cuz he seemed so cool >_< didn't dare to go up to Joe either *sigh* we are such suckers. the two of them left in a car to go somewhere... the guys later blogged about them going to Arab Street, Haji Lane and Sultan Mosque... why is it that these rockers all love to go there? when Muse was here in January some guy also caught them there on the streets (and got photos! with Matt and Dom~~~)

after they left, Chester and Phoenix soon came down too... and Chaz was sooo easy to spot with the red wrist guard thing on his entire lower right arm~ they walked pass us and my friend went after Chaz to ask for photographs, in which he declined saying "sorry, no photos in the hotel"... puzzled as we were, thinking whether it meant photos will be allowed once *outside* the hotel, we then started to follow the guys on their trail... like, literally walking few metres behind them, all the way from the Four Seasons Hotel, connected to Hilton Hotel's Shopping Gallery, out onto Orchard Road.

there was one point in which the guys had to turn around in order to go down the escalators... and of course, they'd see us stalking them... but Chaz looked at us as he went down the escalator and *smiled*, so whew. I was sooo scared and embarassed cuz I've never done anything like this before, stalking someone else... ^O^;;;;;; actually felt like the biggest idiot ever, like, I kept thinking, what the hell am I doing?!???

the guys ended up going to Forum The Shopping Mall, located next to the Hilton Hotel, and had lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen there... we also ate there, to wait for them... ^O^;;;;;; we didn't eat *inside* the restaurant tho cuz it was full, but seriously, even if there were seats, I wouldn't wanna eat inside either cuz it'd be sooo awkward!!! it's not like I wanna stare at the guys all the time while they eat anywayz! ^O^;;;;;; so we sat outside right by the entrance. the glass partition had reflections on so we wouldn't be able to see anything happening inside the restaurant anywayz, but we figured, they'd have to come out thru that entrance, so we'll catch them then.

about half way thru one of the two bodyguards came out. he first started to walk back to the hotel, then he turned around and came straight at us, saying "do me a favour, don't let me see you guys again anywhere at the hotel or following around" O______O I then started to look at the passersby on Orchard Road, and all of a sudden I saw the drummer Rob walking by himself!!! *O* it was completely by chance! I was just sitting there people watching! there weren't a lot of people on that part of the street at the time, so it was so easy to notice him! but still, I thought he looked completely blend in, haha! I told my friend and she went after Rob to chase him down the street... it was hilarious looking at her following behind Rob at the opposite side of the street~

after the guys finished lunch and came out, nearly 2.30pm, they walked pass us (again) to go to The Coffee Bean at next door. we had no idea what the hell we're supposed to do. then we saw there's someone else in the cafe, asking Chaz for photos and he refused again, but he agreed to sign. and when they were waiting for their coffee, the baristas were talking to them too. so, when they were about to leave, we finally went up to them to ask for autographs. but I guess it was pretty clear by then already that they just don't do photographs ~~~~~~>___<~~~~~~

my friend's the one with the marker so she started talking with Chaz first and got his autograph. I got no pen... standing in front of Phoenix, and he kept asking me if I have a pen... ^O^;;; I was actually waiting for my friend and Chaz to finish signing then give me the pen, but the other bodyguard gave us a pen (nice!), so Phoenix signed. as he was signing, he saw Mike's signature there, so he asked me "where did you find Mike?" ^O^;;;;;; "umm... in the hotel?" it was sooo embarassing!!! as I said that I felt like the biggest stalker ever and felt like digging a hole right then and there to hide... >___<;;; (my friend later said she heard Phoenix asking me that too and that it was funny. yeah, stupid funny *dies* why the hell would he even ask that anyway?!?)

but I guess it was some sort of opening, cuz I think, subconsciously, in an attempt to (re-)present myself as a genuine fan who loves their music and not some crazy stalker girl, I started babbling to Phoenix, "it was the 4th time I've seen you guys~ I saw you twice in Japan before and once in Vancouver, and then last night (in Singapore)~~~ would you guys be going to Vancouver again??? Vancouver misses you!!!" (I subsequently repeated the entire thing to Chester, haha)

Phoenix commented on "wow you travelled around a lot" hearing what I said. THEN, my memory is blank now, cuz I'm not sure how I made the switch from Phoenix to Chester ^O^;;; all I can remember now is, at that moment, I suddenly realized why am I not talking to Chester (when he's the one I reaaaaally wanna talk to) and what if he leaves soooooon~ I can't even remember if I said "thanks" to Phoenix before turning away from him to go to Chester?!??? *dies* god, I hope I did. in moments of hyper excitement apparently I lose *both* my manners and memory (and this has been proven over and over again all too many times now since then...)

so then, I repeated my script~ Chester's reply was like, definitely they'll go back to Van, da da da... actually, it's not any more certain than Phoenix's reply (who cited reasons like scheduling and whatnot). but I just remember Chaz said the word "definitely"~ but well, I guess that's the standard answer anywayz? just say yes first. haha ^O^;;;

I realized suddenly tho at the moment how weird it must have been when I kept babbling how much Vancouver misses them... they must have been a bit puzzled as to why I'm saying all this in *Singapore*?!??? HAHAH~ cuz I don't look one bit like a stereotypical Canadian! ^O^;;;;;; I later told this to a friend in Van, and she was like "lol, yeah! you need to explain that you're from Vancouver!" ^O^;;;;;; which I missed, dumbass me.

after that script, I added in, the one thing I reaaaaally wanted to tell Chester (and it was for this i decided to stalk them) even tho I'm sure he hears this ALL the time, that I love his voice and his singing style~~~ (I forgot to also say that I love his lyrics) Chaz seemed genuinely pleased and he *smiled* and patted me on my upper arm while thanking me ^O^ then after that, I guess it's time to "close" the dialogue, cuz I didn't wanna seem like we're taking up so much of their time bothering them... so I just said I hope his arm get well soon... and I was literally mumbling that last line, not loud and clear enough, so Chester leaned over to me to listen ^O^;;; then they left, and this shot was obviously taken when we were there watching them go off...

the two of them were in a cheery mood (probably cuz they were fed. haha. just finished having lunch) and when we talked to them, they both did respond back and *smiled* and everything. so it was really nice, it was the highlight of the entire day and what we were stalking them for.

after that, we stopped stalking them. well, we still did, a little bit... ^O^;;;;;; we went back to Hilton Singapore's Shopping Gallery and waited there, thinking the guys had already gone back into the Four Seasons Hotel... then we saw them coming back with shopping bags ^O^;;; we obviously didn't dare go back into Four Seasons again cuz the hotel staff there had seen us already... and for one who works in hotels, I should know better than to bother the guests staying there, haha. so yeah, after that we went back out on to Orchard Road wondering whether the guys would pop out again, but it was late afternoon already and there were just too many people on the street, so there's no way they'd be wandering around anymore. so we called it a day and head back.

and that's my confession of being a Linkin Park stalker ^O^;;;;;;

it ain't that fun tho, to tell the truth. I hate that bodyguard... but come to think of it now, Chester and Phoenix were the first rockers I actually really talked to (and they talked back)... cuz I think when I met David Usher and Raine Maida, I never really said anything! it was all my friend who was there asking for autographs, photos and hugs! I was just standing next to her being the copycat to get the same things! haha!

so yeah! amazing. I finally managed to see the guys and talk to them after 3.5 years. I had wanted to meet them sooo much before that I went as far as to join their fan club, because Linkin Park is well-known for having Meet & Greet sessions before every gig, and they're the only band other than the Japanese GLAY whom I've joined fan club for... but when I actually got the chance to go to M&G, I gave it up opting to be at front centre of mosh pit to see the show.

the whole thing still seems somewhat surreal now tho... to think that someone you have liked and admired for sooo long and that you always see through TV just standing right in front of you looking you straight in the eyes, smiling and acknowledging you... it seemed like a dream~ and now whenever I go to The Coffee Bean, or just see one, I think of Chester and his smile... *dreamy*

and yes, you can bet that I have since been frequenting The Coffee Bean a lot... haha ^O^;;; there is one around where I work, but it's further away so I rarely went there... now tho, I'd always travel the extra mile (and spend extra money >_<) to go to The Coffee Bean to get their drinks~

CRAZY. hah.

oh yeah, and speaking of which, I should also go to the California Pizza Kitchen more often too... and sit where Chester and the gang sat. HAHAHAHA~~~
This photo has notes. Move your mouse over the photo to see them.

friend also figured out the flight the guys were taking to go to Taiwan and she was actually also going on that same flight with them (she came to Singapore to see their show)... so I was left with a dilemma of whether I should go to the airport. I mean, what's there left to do? the guys are still gonna say "no" to photographs, and I had already managed to get 3 autographs out of the 6 of them (even tho I did see Joe and Rob, I didn't go up to them).

but still, I thought 3/6 is quite good already~ I got 50%! I'm pretty satisfied! plus, there're bound to be more people at the airport (managers, more bodyguards?! etc all the crew), then it'd be even harder to approach them. so at one point, I really did give up on the idea of chasing them all the way to the airport. but then, the more I kept thinking the more I was like, maybe I shooould go and see them off, just to have some kinda closure~

their flight to Taiwan was at 12.25pm, so I had up to 10am to decide whether I'd go to the airport or not. then someone told me to try to plead with them... act all sad like a puppy and keep saying please~ pretty please~~~ and stuff. haha ^O^;;; so I thought, yeah! we didn't try that the previous day and maybe it'd work?! so I finally decided to go and got to the airport around 10.30pm and saw my friend had finished checking in herself for the flight already and was waiting there.

Chester and Phoenix were the first ones to arrive, at about 11am, and they went straight to the check-in counter. well, they weren't the ones standing right at the counter doing the check-in themselves, but they were in that area, talking to each other the whole time, while the bodyguard and manager were checking in the luggage and stuff for them.

we noticed there were 2 other young guys waiting there too. one of them went up to call Chester from behind (!!!) and ask for photos/autographs... Chester refused. we didn't dare to go in... so we were standing outside the check-in area. THEN, the mean bodyguard noticed us and came straight at us again... saying demandingly "what did I tell you yesterday at Pizza Kitchen?" first time he said that I didn't hear him clearly, so he repeated again. and we were both just standing there looking at him with poker face like completely blank expressions... then he said "so what, now you don't understand English?" (hah! yeees, sometimes I dooo pretend I don't~~~)

friend said she's going on the flight too and I was there to see her off. the bodyguard mumbled something like he's gonna notify the airport or something... but he went talking to this other guy, who looked like the tour manager, and that guy came to us. he was at least, more polite... saying "is everything alright, ladies?" and told us to just give the guys some space...

which we did anywayz without him telling us to!!! it's pretty obvious from the photos too! we were standing at a short distance from them! and we didn't even go up to them or anything! I don't understand why the bodyguard only yelled at us!!! those two other guys even called Chester from behind loudly "Hey Chester!" when he was talking to Phoenix, and yet the bodyguard didn't go to him! jeeeeeez.

Chester and Phoenix left soon, and there was another fanboy who came by himself and chased up to Chaz to ask for photos, but he put up both his hands at the side while he kept walking, with that hand gesture signalling "no". I'm sooo mad and sad at ourselves for our inaction, cuz like, a major reason I decided to follow them again was that I realized I still have things I wanna say to them! like, say bye to them... hope they have a great time in Taiwan... remember to put in more Canadian tour dates... wish them an early Merry X'mas... but nooo! I didn't get to say any of those things! but still, I could've at least just yelled "bye bye Chester!!!" from behind as he was walking towards the customs! but nooo, we were silent the whole time!!!

*SIGH* I think part of the reason was that, we didn't wanna create a scene... I mean, if we yell, people all around would turn and look at us~ and we do understand how they wanna keep their low profile... so we didn't dare say anything and just quietly watched them walk away. but now the more I think about it, the more it shouldn't have mattered! I'm sure to them too, it would've been alright if we just said "bye bye" right?

then Rob and Joe showed up. friend went up to ask Rob for autograph... I followed and got it. another guy went to ask Joe and he did agree to sign! so I went to try too... friend didn't dare go up to Joe (even tho she likes him the most) and asked me to do it for her... so I gave him 2 booklets to sign~ but we didn't say anything to them at all... just "thank you". they didn't say anything either, but they did look at us in the eyes and nodded when returning the booklets to us. dunno... I think I was like completely *braindead* by then already, I just didn't know what to say... we all didn't dare to ask for photos... the sad puppy method we had wanted to use, never even got the chance to try it out ~~~~~~>___<~~~~~~

20

http://s41.radikal.ru/i094/0807/c1/10df9dcec8fc.jpg

we never even got the chance to photo them candidly from the front or the side!!! cuz we were just too scared... the bodyguards! and we didn't wanna "intrude" on the guys like some paparazzi... see! these 4 photos are literally the ONLY ones I took of the guys from the back since we were trailing them!

and this! the ONLY candid shot I managed to take of (at least half of) Chester's face and it came out bloody blurred!!!!!! aaaaaargh!!!!!!

apparently, when the guys arrived in Taiwan, there were about 50 fans and TONS of press all waiting there for them... and fans were all yelling loudly "LINKIN PARK~~~" while also taking shots of them as they were coming out. Chester waved and Mike was even being playful so he took out his own camera and started to photo the fans too.

~~~~~~>______<~~~~~~
and here I was, thinking we weren't supposed to bother them and so didn't yeeeeeell in airport the whole time nor took any photos *of* them from the front!!!!!!!!!! Taiwan press even took this front shot of Chester and Mike coming out of the gates all smiling and everything.
I don't even know what to feel anymore... there we were, never yelled or anything and kept our perfect distance... plus, it's also cuz we didn't wanna cut in on them talking to each other. and all this while we were being treated so meanly. I'm sure those bodyguards wouldn't go up to each one of those 50 fans to tell them off right to their faces right?
a friend said it's sad but it's easier to be mean to just a handful of people. if there were a whooole group of fans (plus the press) then the guys would have to put on smiling faces and the bodyguards wouldn't be so f'ing mean.
SIGH.
