Bartender
LESTAT

EDIT: One more - 30.11.2001 Cedar Rapids, IA, US Cellular

As everyone knows, (həd) p.e. song called "Bartender" is usually mislabeled as "Linkin Park - I Just Want Your Company".
And now, we know the origin of this confusion.
Chester joined (həd) p.e. on stage to help perform this track in 2000.
At this time we only know about one show, when this collaboration occured:

05.12.2000 Columbus, OH, Newport Music Hall

LINKIN PARK FRONTMAN PLANS TO BRAINWASH KIDS INTO LIKING HIS SIDE PROJECTS - MTV.COM

Chester Bennington's house might have been the place to trick-or-treat this year, at least if you had any interest in the Linkin Park singer's top-secret side projects.
"I was thinking of making candies and giving them out to little kids, and then when they eat them, it downloads [the albums] into their brains," Bennington deadpanned. "If anybody out there actually has the talent to create that technology, give me a call."
And if not, at least Bennington is finally talking about his outside efforts, Snow White Tan and Julien-K, both with Orgy guitarists Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh, as well as cover band Bucket of Weenies, whose Hollywood debut was October 25 at the Avalon.
In fact, it was hard to get Bennington to shut up about the latter, a much less serious band with no plans to record. When he did, however, he revealed a bit about the other two bands. It seems Bennington sings for Snow White Tan, while Shuck handles vocals for Julien-K, an electro band. (Bucket of Weenies features Bennington, Shuck, guitarist Mike Rouse of the Johns, bassist Mike "Cheez" Brown of T.S.O.L. and drummer Sean Dowdell of Bennington's pre-Linkin Park band, Grey Daze.)
"We've been working for a long time on these projects, and they're really interesting and different," Bennington said. "I don't know if I want to let too much of the cat out of the bag at this point, but when the time is right I think people are really gonna enjoy what we've been doing, and hopefully it kind of adds a new flavor to the music scene."
Like Linkin Park MC Mike Shinoda's Fort Minor, which is pure hip-hop (see "Linkin Park MC Gets Director With Flair For Video With Flares"), Snow White Tan and Julien-K are much different than Linkin Park. "It's not done purposely," Bennington said. "It's just that way, it's just naturally different."
Shuck, who met Bennington when Linkin Park were recording their first album at the same studio where Orgy were working, said some of the Snow White Tan material dates back five or six years.
"I always used to go to his house and hear him play acoustic guitar," Shuck said. "And I always thought to myself, 'Oh my God, these are such good songs.' "
Both the Snow White Tan and Julien-K albums are nearly complete, but the guys want to properly release and promote both the projects, which is where the scheduling issue comes into play.
"Timing is everything, and because of the kind of lives that we have, with so many different things going on, we have to really make sure that it's the appropriate time," Bennington said.
"By the time it actually comes out, we're gonna have probably three or four records' worth of material to release," he said. "But we'll see."
In the meantime, Bennington and Shuck are having the time of their lives with Bucket of Weenies, who put a punk or hard-rock spin on a variety of covers, including Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds," Oasis' "Wonderwall" and Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game." At the Avalon, the band also played Snow White Tan's "The Morning After" and a few Brown originals.
Bucket of Weenies formed last spring to play a Tempe, Arizona, show celebrating the 10th anniversary of Bennington, Brown and Dowdell's Club Tattoo chain.
"What was gonna be a small thing turned out to be 6,000 people, and we had a ton of fun," Brown said. "And then we thought, 'Let's keep playing.' "
"It's really kinda cool 'cause we play like, not the typical stuff — it's not 'Smells Like Teen Spirit,' " Bennington said. "We're doing tracks that I think are songs that when you listen to them you go, 'Wow that's a really cool song.' "
The band apparently built its set list while jamming in Shuck's basement, yelling out songs and seeing if they could figure out how to play them.
"We're all over the map," Rouse said. "We've got Dramarama, we've got the Cure, we've got Bowie, just kind of like a collective sort of what we all listened to growing up and kind of got us to where we're at now. And we're having fun re-exploring it."
As for the name Bucket of Weenies, Shuck came up with it during a live radio interview in Tempe.
"It's just when you're partying and all your friends are, like, pulling their shirts off and you're just like, 'What a bucket of weenies,' " he explained.
"It was fantastic and stuck," said Bennington, who noted that the initials spell "bow." "Join the BOW movement!"

Best Tattoo Parlor

First thing: this is not a tattoo parlor - it's a tattoo studio, which means it stretches far beyond ink and needles. Owned by Sean Dowdell and Linkin Park frontman (and Phoenician!) Chester Bennington, Club Tattoo is known for its celebrity clientele and edgy take on tatts and piercings. If you aren't quite ready to go under the needle, no worries. You can always hang with the crowd at one of CT's local events, or buy a pair of soon to be released Club Tattoo Etnie shoes when they go on sale next month.

Физически - "Given Up" и "Crawling".
chesterbennington(16:41):я , думают, это очевидно

chesterbennington(17:04):tiff07- хммм...

Dead By Sunrise?
CB: [...]

New Audio

http://chester-land.net/

I added a new audio for download. I don’t really know the source of this audio or if it comes from an interview, but it’s Chester talking about his past, how it was like for him to go to school and being a teenager. I don’t think I’ve heard it before (or I just don’t remember) but it really touched me and makes me respect him and love him even more, so I thought I should share it with you guys.

Orgy band - History

Orgy was formed in 1997 by vocalist Jay Gordon (de facto ex-member of Deadsy) and guitarist Ryan Shuck, once of Jonathan Davis' original band Sexart, assisting in their eventual signing to KoЯn's label Elementree Records.

Bassist Paige Haley, guitarist Amir Derakh, and drummer Bobby Hewitt soon completed the lineup. All were veterans of the local L.A. club scene. Derakh had previously gained some fame in the 80s metal band Rough Cutt, and Hewitt was a former member of Electric Love Hogs. Gordon and Derakh were also experienced producers.

They claimed the name of the band was not a sexual reference, but instead pointed to the "collage" of different styles in their music. Within six months, they were signed to Elementree Records. They had yet to play a single live show.

In 1998, their debut album, Candyass, was released. Gordon described the subject matter of the material as "...bullshit...lies and fairy tales." Their cover of the New Order song "Blue Monday" was a breakthrough hit. The second single "Stitches" also gained extensive airplay.

Orgy made their live debut on the Family Values Tour with KoЯn, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube (ex-N.W.A.), Incubus, and Rammstein. They were featured on the live compilation album of the tour, released in 1999. Other tours with Love and Rockets and Sugar Ray followed.

Their second album, the science fiction-themed Vapor Transmission, came out in 2000, with "Fiction (Dreams in Digital)" and "Opticon" as singles.

After the release of Vapor Transmission, Orgy left Reprise Records. They had already severed ties with Elementree. Gordon started his own independent record label D1 Music. The band's third album, Punk Statik Paranoia, was released in 2004 through D1. A fourth album is allegedly on the way for the first quarter of 2006.

In late 2003 guitarists Shuck and Derakh formed a side project, Julien-K, as an outlet for electronic material they had come up with during the writing process for Orgy. They are currently working on their first album and producing Chester Bennington of Linkin Park's solo album.

Linkin Park news, reviews, video and tour dates
Add Linkin Park to MyNME
Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has told NME.COM that he is "honoured" to be playing Knebworth as part of the Sonisphere festival this summer.

His band and Metallica will headline the new touring rock festival, which includes a stop at the English stately home and famous rock concert venue.

Both bands top the bill at Sonisphere, which visits Holland, Germany, Spain, Sweden and Finland before finishing up at the legendary site on the weekend of August 1-2.

"As I've become aware of the awesome bands who have played Knebworth over the years I realise what an honour it will be for Linkin Park. This is definitely one of the big ones," he said of the venue which has hosted massive shows from the likes of Led Zeppelin and Oasis.

"You have to work on earning the respect of the fans in the UK," he added. "I would say the experiences over the years playing festivals over there, the audiences actually get better and better each time.

"I think it will be amazing to come out and play this festival. Obviously we're huge fans of Metallica as well. We’ve had the pleasure of playing with them on a number of occasions. We get on really well with Metallica and its so much fun to play with Metallica."

The singer hinted that Sonisphere might see the band debut some all-new material.

"I can't promise because we're still writing," said Bennington, "but I'm going to put it out there that you might hear some new stuff from us."

Linkin Park's last album was 2007's 'Minutes To Midnight'.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_Sebelia

Sebelia shared a violent relationship with his father, who divorced his mother when Jeffrey was only 8. Soon after, Jeffrey, who felt responsible for the divorce, began experimenting with cocaine and marijuana. By the time he was 16, he was a heroin addict living in a friend's garage. The following 15 years were filled with numerous, yet failed, attempts to get sober at a number of West Coast drug treatment centers. He has never been far from the spotlight and has been friends with Dave Navarro since they were teens. Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, who is also an avid client, loves the Cosa Nostra line and has known Sebelia for years.

Ryan Discusses Canceled European Tour

http://www.julien-k.com/forum/showpost. … stcount=15

Ryan from Julien-K has posted this message on the Julien-K forum in response to fans questioning him about why the band had to cancel their January 2008 European shows in support of Linkin Park.

The original message read in January 2008: "Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to perform the dates as scheduled and therefore must cancel the European tour. "

Ryan had this to say:
"here's the truth - simplified (some of this is a bit to personal to share in to much detail). if you guys are really savvy and decide to dig deeper, you will be able to fill in the blanks as this story starts to pick up traction in the mainstream press.

our company (L7) was having some major legal issues preventing us from being able to move forward in any substantial way. it wasn't anything that we (the band) did. it was a once in a lifetime nightmare that we inadvertently got caught up in - and we had no easy way out.

in addition to that, and connected to it - one of our closest friends and partners were in crisis. we just couldn't leave in the middle of it.

on the personal side - we needed to be there for our friend, on the business side, we were legally frozen.

no passport issues, and we would never book a tour and just cancel it to go record. we lost A LOT of money by canceling that tour, and a huge opportunity. it was not taken lightly.

hope this helps shed some light on why we were unable to do ANYTHING for so long. we have been in a 3 year long battle.

RS"

On December 7 last year, I posted this thread on our own forum entitled "Level 7, The Details You Never Knew...Until Now". Check it out. Some people don't really understand it, so I'll post a follow-up if needed. Level 7 was basically a music "company" that Chester and some friends created to release his solo album, the Julien-K album, and more. Anyway, enjoy.

"Level 7, The Details You Never Knew...Until Now".

http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=659

"level 7 isn't going to happen anytime soon. julien-k and the dead by sunrise cds were going to go on it, but JK is doing an online format release and DBS is through warner unfortunately. something happened that is preventing it from taking place (level 7). warner possibly said HELL NO, lol."

NoFace, an LPUer posted this reply. Check this shit out.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think that Level 7 already happened for years, and its leader was actually sued in 2004 by one of its former workers.

Behind this company is Henry T. Nicholas III, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_T._Nicholas_III
who is reportedly "under indictment for felony drug, conspiracy, and securities fraud. The indictment included a slew of drug and sex related allegations summed up by the The Times: "a sex cave", "fully stocked warehouse of drugs", and "a brothel’s worth of prostitutes on the payroll"

In 2007, Kenji Kato, a very close administrative assistant of Henry Nicholas had filed a civil suit against this person.

QUOTE
Nicholas said he had been counseled not to discuss the stock options probe or the allegations in the civil suit. But he did say that Kato sank into drug abuse while working for him at Level 7, a music and media company.

QUOTE
In subsequent court filings, Kato also alleged that Nicholas secretly spiked the drinks of business associates with drugs, ordered aides to fill balloons with laughing gas to entertain party guests and left drug paraphernalia strewn about a second Newport Coast house owned by Nicholas where Level 7 had a recording studio.

QUOTE
In addition to being Nicholas’ assistant, Kato also worked for Level 7, which has worked with bands including Linkin Park. Bands occasionally recorded and partied at the home where Level 7 had its studio.

QUOTE
“On regular occasions Nicholas disputed the allegations. He said he helped Chester Bennington, the singer for Linkin Park, kick an addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs, which Bennington confirmed Friday. “When you wake up and have a Jack Daniel’s for breakfast, it’s a pretty bad sign,” Bennington said.

Denise Boudreau, who is described in Kato’s declaration as a purveyor of drugs to Nicholas, called the accusation “ridiculous.”

“It was so over the top it was funny,” said Boudreau, who works for Level 7. “I thought Kenji was losing it.”

Source: The Los Angeles Times http://articles.latimes.com/2007/jul/14 … nicholas14

Linkin Park is involved or just Chester?

QUOTE
Since leaving Broadcom, Nicholas has launched several enterprises that have gone nowhere. Level 7, a recording company he started with the band Linkin Park, is now in what he calls "suspended animation." His pledge, announced last year, to donate more than $10 million to UC Irvine has yet to come to fruition.

Source: OC's Register http://www.ocregister.com/news/henry-t- … i-broadcom

In document "Declaration of Kenji Kato"

QUOTE
Towards the end of 2004, he (Nicholas) decided to create a media company called Level 7. I was the first person to come on board and help him develop this company. Our objective with this was to help some of our musician friends make records and distribute them under a cutting edge, technology oriented business model. We build recording studios, and hired musicians to record music and create content for Level 7. I assisted with artist management, accounting and business development.
...
Unfortunately, Nick's pain, suffering, and drug abuse were extreme, and it was difficult to discuss and handle business matters with him. It was increasingly difficult to be associated with an endeavor, Level 7, that was headed by a person, Nick, who would rather always party than work.

On another note, Ryan Shuck (Orgy/ Julien-K, Dead By Sunrise) was friends with Nicholas through a campaign against Prop 66 in California.

QUOTE
Nearby, two hard rockers sporting spiked hair and, in one case, a 4-inch goatee stood out in the mostly Republican crowd. Ryan Shuck, a guitarist with Orgy, and David Silvera, the drummer with Korn, described themselves as “Republican rockers” and came as friends of former Broadcom Chief Executive Henry Nicholas, who donated more than $4 million to defeat Proposition 66.

Source: LA Times http://articles.latimes.com/2004/nov/08 … me-polcol8

Orgy was also invited to Henry's 40th birthday party.

The funniest thing is Kenji Kato (mentioned above) is referred by Henry Nicholas as 'Secret Asian Man' (according to Kenji Kato's declaration). If you read Mike Shinoda's blog, you would find some similarity here.

Thoughts?

QUOTE (Shinoda Godfather @ Jan 28 2009, 12:41 PM)

I think it's no big deal if he sometime gets one or two drinks or even lets his hair down and boozes off his face a little.Jet Fuel is just a cocktail, anyway, guess he's just having his fun

But then, we know what happened in the past. What can make we know for sure that he's totally sober or off drugs. I don't try to be a wet blanket here, but alcoholism got him more than once, as a sole problem/addiction, not only a part of his drug abuse. Everything seems to be alright now, but who knows. Especially when you're a rockstar with friends who are totally living rockstar style (the Level 7 guy, anyone). /QUOTE

Me ->
I believe absolutely the same. I think it's Julien-K guys or Shuck, who makes a company for drinking; neverending recording of DBS album seems to be just a reason to party, drink, smoke, sniff or whatever  Wish i were wrong.

Shuck is also a member of Bucket of Weenies, rite?
Have you ever heard about friendship between Shinoda and Ryan?
Maybe Linkin Park is a MACHINE in studio coz they WORK HARD and it's not a relaxing party as Diva Chaztina wants to be  Hope the time has come for Mrs Bennoda to tear her ass and release the damn fucking solo album!!!!!!!111
